what is community acupuncture?
Community acupuncture simply means treatments are done in a quiet common area, as opposed to private rooms. The group setting allows personalized care to multiple patients per hour. This style of treatment makes it possible to keep fees low and make acupuncture available to a greater number of people. Many enjoy the community setting, as it enables them to come with a friend or family member. This setting, can have a powerful and positive impact on the results of the treatment.

You are welcome to bring any additional props that may enhance your comfort, such as ipod and headphones, or eye mask. You will have a short conversation with Melissa, who will look at your tongue, feel your pulse, and proceed with treatment. Having acupuncture could be described as a period of deep stillness in which nothing seems to be happening, but all sorts of things get done.
